About me

About me

About me

Welwyn Pilates is run by me, Angie Dehadray, and my journey into the world of Pilates began a decade ago, to help me recover my mobility following reconstructive breast cancer surgery.

In 2022, after over decade of working in primary education, I gained my matwork Pilates instructor qualification under the guidance of Joanne Cobbe of JPilates, a leading educator in the industry. Under Joanne's expert tuition, I have expanded my expertise, completing specialised training in barre, reformer, spine corrector, ladder barrels and tower.  I am also qualified in Pre and Post-Natal Pilates.

The thing I love most about teaching Pilates is that every session is a two-way journey.  I learn alongside my clients constantly discovering new facets to each move, trying new techniques and cues and looking at how different people respond and move. No two classes can ever be the same!
